In an idyllic setting, this project has a history of successfully supporting vulnerable people to develop new skills, meet new people, and think about the next phase of their development in a nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Volunteers socialise with adults and young people with a learning disability. Volunteers and the people they support work together on tasks such as growing plants, conservation work around the farm and woodwork – around Christmas time volunteers help beneficiaries make decorations, such as wreaths and reindeers to sell at the Christmas fayres.
