Social Club
Social Club (formerly Whale of Time Wednesdays) is a fortnightly social club for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions
- In Cardiff the club takes place every other Wednesday evening at Cathays Methodist Church.
- In RCT the club takes place every other Thursday evening, at the Innovate Trust office at 2 Talbot Green Business Park, Talbot Green, Pontyclun, CF72 9FG.
Volunteers help to faciliate various activities, include board games, arts and crafts, karaoke, and playing on the Wii.
It is the volunteers’ role to help create a fun, safe and supported environment where the adults can get together and enjoy themselves, which in turn helps them build on their social and communication skills.
This is a great opportunity to have lots of fun, working in a team of other volunteers, whilst making a real difference to a vulnerable adult’s life.
