Volunteer with Brynawel – Make a Real Difference Every Week.

We’re excited to be working in partnership with Brynawel with our new 'Steps To Recovery' project. Brynawel Rehabiliation Centre is Wales’ leading residential centre for people recovering from alcohol and drug dependencies. Together, we’re offering a range of rewarding volunteer opportunities – and we’d love for you to get involved.

Some opportunities include:

  • Client Befriender – Spend time chatting, listening, and providing friendly company.
  • Recovery Team Volunteer – Support staff with day-to-day tasks and client engagement.
  • Activity Volunteer – Help plan and lead group sessions like arts, games, or fitness.
  • Allotment Volunteer – Work outdoors alongside clients, helping maintain the garden space.
  • Mini Bus Driver – Assist with local transport for clients.
  • Painter and Decorator – Help keep the centre a welcoming and well-maintained space.

We’re ideally looking for volunteers who can commit to once a week – it’s a great chance to build consistency with the team and clients. You’ll have opportunities to lead activities, build strong relationships, and gain experience through working alongside staff members.
