Hello, my name is Mia and I am the Mental Health and Community Project Coordinator for SVC!
I have recently graduated from Cardiff University where I studied Psychology and completed a professional placement year with the NHS. During my time at university, I developed an interest in the field of psychology and its applications in promoting mental health and wellbeing. During my final year at university, I had the privilege of being a Lead Volunteer on the NHS placement scheme, where I witnessed first-hand the amazing benefits of volunteer work in mental health settings. I am excited to be coordinating this project as part of my new role and I am looking forward to getting involved in other projects in partnership with the Huggard Homeless Centre.
