The Police Volunteering scheme was set up to help South Wales Police carry out various crime prevention campaigns and high visibility patrols. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into what it’s like to be part of South Wales Police.

This project based in Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot.

Activities include:

  • Help Point: Supporting vulnerable individuals in Swansea's night time economy, working alongside emergency services e.g paramedics, police officers etc.
  • High Visibility patrols: community engagement and providing support and crime prevention advice to members of the community.
  • Support various teams within South Wales Police.

This project requires specific vetting procedures organised by South Wales Police, plus project-specific training.
